Job summary

Avride is hiring an entry-level Robot Service Technician Assistant to support deployment of autonomous delivery robots across campuses in the U.S. This part-time role focuses on operations, maintenance, and preparations of our robot fleet during weekend shifts.

You will learn foundational electro-mechanical skills while ensuring the fleet is ready for deployment and safely operated. Weekly pay applies, with shifts covering Saturday and Sunday across multiple campuses.

Qualifications

Able to lift and move items over 50 pounds safely.
Comfortable working in varied field environments.
Interest in EV service, automotive repair, or electronics is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare robots for the shift: ensure hardware and software are ready for daily deployment.
Put robots/batteries on chargers for the night: manage power cycles.
Clean robots: maintain appearance and protect external hardware.
Perform mechanical repairs: assist with basic repairs on the robot fleet.
Perform service campaigns: implement hardware or software updates across the fleet.
Assist remote support coordinators: hands-on field contact for the remote tracking team.
Perform calibrations and wheel alignment: ensure sensors and chassis components are properly tuned for safe navigation.
Keep workshop clean and tidy: maintain a safe, organized workspace.
