Job summary
Oshkosh Corporation in Indiana is seeking a Robotics Programmer Intern to assist in operation, programming, maintenance and troubleshooting of welding robots, cobots, CNC machines and lasers in production. You will support fixture design, read blueprints, and help drive improvements in welding programming.
The role requires pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics or related field, with hands-on experience in robotic welding and familiarity with
Qualifications
- Pursuing either an associate or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Programming, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with robotic welding.
- Prior experience in a machine shop setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate robots, train others, and observe robots in operation. Oversee operation of the robot and troubleshoot and correct problems that may occur to the robot.
- Provide technical support to the manufacturing group with regards to the manufacturing processes/tooling related to robot programming
- Assist with fixture design, development, and maintenance.
- Design welding programming robot in order for it to safely execute correct welds and improve operations improving technology.
- Identify and coordinate projects that involve the robots (i.e. new technology, installation of capital equipment.
