Job summary

JLG Industries, An Oshkosh Company, is seeking a Robotics Programmer/Weld Intern to assist our fabrication teams. You will help operate and program welding robots, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot issues on the shop floor.

This role offers first shift hours and provides hands-on exposure to robot programming, fixture design, and welding processes. Pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in weld engineering, robotics, mechatronics, programming, or a related field is required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in weld engineering, robotics, mechatronics, programming, engineering or related field.
• Background in fabrication.
• Experience with offline programming.

Responsibilities

• Operate robots, train others, and observe robot operations.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing processes/tooling for robot programming.
• Assist with fixture design, development, and maintenance.
• Design welding programs to safely execute welds and improve operations.
• Identify and coordinate robot-related projects (new tech, equipment).
• Read blueprints and perform failure analysis.
