Job summary

JLG, an Oshkosh company, invites applications for a Robotics Programmer Intern in Greencastle, PA. You will assist in operating and programming welding robots, cobots, CNC machines and lasers across production.

The role blends office work with hands-on shop floor activity, supporting manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixture design while identifying opportunities to apply new automation technology to improve efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Pursuing either an associate or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Programming, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with robotic welding.
• Prior experience in a machine shop setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate robots, train others, and observe robots in operation.
• Provide technical support to the manufacturing group regarding robot programming.
• Assist with fixture design, development, and maintenance.
• Design welding programs for safe, correct welds and improved operations.
• Read blueprints and interpret symbols; understand failure analysis.
• Coordinate robot-related projects and new technology installations.
