Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation, the parent company of JLG Industries, is seeking a Robotics Programmer Intern to assist in operating and programming welding robots, cobots, CNC machines, and lasers across production.

The role supports the manufacturing group with robot programming, tooling, and process improvements, while reading blueprints and conducting failure analysis. A technical degree path is pursued alongside hands-on shop experience in robotics contexts.

Qualifications

Pursuing either an associate or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Programming.
Hands-on experience with robotic welding.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Creo software.

Responsibilities

Operate robots, train others, and observe robots in operation and troubleshoot issues.
Provide technical support to manufacturing regarding robot programming and tooling.
Assist with fixture design, development, and maintenance.
Design welding programs to ensure correct welds and improve operations.
Identify and coordinate projects involving robots and new technologies.
