Job summary

1X is building humanoid robots for home use, scaling production of NEO on a floor that balances safety, quality, and efficiency. As Production Supervisor, you’ll own the daily rhythm of the assembly line, mentor a trained team, ensure on-time delivery, and drive improvements that reduce cycle time and cost.

You’ll report to the Manufacturing leadership and align with product milestones. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, measurable targets, and a culture of accountability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years directly supervising production or manufacturing teams on the floor.
• Proven ability to hit targets while ensuring safety and quality.
• Fluency in production planning, quality systems, and safety practices.
• Willing to work on-site in Hayward or San Carlos, day or swing shift.

Responsibilities

• Hit daily and weekly build targets without compromising safety or quality.
• Build and lead a production team that is trained, accountable, and engaged.
• Drive defect reduction and root-cause problem solving with Quality and Engineering.
• Own floor safety with zero preventable incidents and full compliance.
• Lead at least one meaningful process improvement per quarter.
