Job summary

Figure AI, headquartered in San Jose, CA, seeks a Production Lead to drive daily execution on the factory floor. You will coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and quality teams to meet production schedules while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency. You’ll be hands-on and step onto the line when needed to keep builds on track.

Shift Schedule: 2pm-10:30pm. Lead by example, assign tasks, monitor flow, troubleshoot issues, and support Lean manufacturing initiatives to continuously improve

Qualifications

• AS degree or equivalent; high school diploma or GED accepted.
• 3+ years in regulated manufacturing, 1+ year in leadership.
• Hands-on experience in assembly/manufacturing/production (robotics preferred).
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and time management.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and use hand tools with PPE.
• Collaborate across teams to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
• Assign daily tasks and coordinate resources to meet production schedules and quality targets.
• Monitor production flow, track progress, and provide updates on priority work orders.
• Verify readiness of lines, components, and equipment; support set-ups and changeovers.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving quality, equipment, or process issues.
• Review and complete production documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct shift passdowns and cross-functional updates.
• Support employee training and development; step in for absent operators when needed.
• Partner with supervisors to drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement.
