Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking a Field-based Clinical Specialist in Joint Replacement to support surgeons with both robotic Mako and manual orthopedic procedures. You will assist with pre‑operative planning, case preparation, and in‑room setup, while growing clinical and technical expertise.

The role requires 1 year of relevant clinical experience and a bachelor’s or equivalent education path, with on‑call coverage including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR Associate degree with 4 years of professional experience.
• 1 year of relevant work experience in clinical settings.
• Previous clinical experience (nursing, physical therapy, surgical technology, athletic training, etc.)
• Extracurricular involvement such as community service, leadership organizations, or athletic teams.

Responsibilities

• Gain solo case coverage competency for manual and robotic procedures.
• Assist surgeons with pre‑operative CT‑based planning, implant sizing, and positioning.
• Support full case preparation, including instrumentation checks, equipment setup, and OR readiness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues confidently in the operating room.
• Learn and support workflow for daily account coordination, including inventory management and logistics.
• Shadow experienced teammates to understand territory dynamics and surgeon preferences.
• Participate in product demonstrations, cadaver labs, education programs, and customer training events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and cross‑functional partners.
• Manage administrative tasks related to accounts, system updates, and case documentation.
• Collaborate with sales partners to ensure seamless execution and a unified customer experience.
• Complete required trainings, competencies, and certifications.
• Provide on‑call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
