Job summary

Chef Robotics, Inc. is hiring a Robotic Operations Engineer to be the first contact for issues at a customer site, based in our SF office.

You will triage, troubleshoot remotely, document, and escalate across our deployed fleet, communicating with customer operations teams to resolve problems efficiently. You will lead escalations, work with Systems Support and Applications teams, and contribute to playbooks and task development for expanding at existing customers.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a customer-facing role in applications engineering, deployment, solutions engineering, or similar roles.
• Prior API integrations experience for Support tooling development.

Responsibilities

• Investigate customer issues, triage tickets with relevant data, and deploy fixes or mitigations.
• Perform remote diagnostics via company portal and internal tools.
• Track hardware requests and parts using the workflow.
• Read technical docs and APIs to understand RaaS products.
• Support fast-paced, reactive environments while meeting CSAT/SLA targets.
• Document runbooks, guides, and FAQs from real-ticket patterns.
