Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance Team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment across the facility.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and documenting work orders while mentoring junior technicians to ensure high standards of safety and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyors and controls.
• 2+ years predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 1+ years reading electrical schematics.
• 1+ years knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Experience with CMMS and document management.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Create, assign, and close work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
• Maintain positive working relationships across the facility.
