Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance Team in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.

Key responsibilities include safety adherence, preventative maintenance, and accurate work-order documentation, plus mentoring junior technicians to grow their skills within a dynamic warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyors.
• 2+ years performing predictive and preventative maintenance.
• 1+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 1+ years knowledge of electrical/electronic principles.
• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project; strong documentation.
• Ability to work flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance with proper documentation; troubleshoot MHE electrical/mechanical issues.
• Create, assign, and close work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used; track inventory.
• Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
• Maintain positive working relationships across the facility.
