Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our Aurora, CO facility. You will perform preventative maintenance on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, while maintaining thorough documentation to support uptime and safety.

A focus on safe practices and teamwork will be essential across all shifts. The role requires 2+ years of maintenance experience, ability to lift up to 49 lbs, and flexibility to work weekends/nights as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience or certification from Amazon's Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship Program.
• 2+ years of preventive and predictive maintenance experience.
• 2+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years applying safety standards.
• 2+ years troubleshooting MHE.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE.
• Maintain positive relationships across Amazon Operations facilities.
• Ability to lift up to 49 lbs, stand for up to 12 hours, climb ladders, and perform bending and lifting as required.
