Job summary

Amazon's Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team in Englewood, Colorado seeks a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, install and service automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians.

You'll promote safety, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot MHE, and collaborate with Operations to keep the facility running.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Certification from Amazon's Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship Program, or 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience.
• 2+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Amazon Operations facility.
• Move up to 49 lbs, stand and walk during shifts up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely, and perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching.
