Job summary

Amazon in Englewood, CO is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution gear and mentor junior technicians.

The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and hands-on problem solving, with shift flexibility and growth opportunities within SCO2 RME.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Certification from Amazon's Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship Program, or 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience
• 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics experience
• 2+ years of demonstrating safety standards experience
• 2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment (MHE) experience

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE including belts, motors, photo-eyes and relays
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all Amazon Operations facilities
• Move up to 49lbs, stand and walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely, and bend, lift, stretch and reach as required
