Job summary

1X in California is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to own the material plan for NEO production. You will translate the build schedule into a reliable, time-phased supply plan for key commodities so parts arrive exactly when needed, avoiding shortages and excess inventory.

You will operate at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and a global supplier base, maintaining BOM accuracy, lead times, and inventory health while driving on-time, in-full supplier performance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of materials planning, production planning, or supply planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience running MRP in an ERP system (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, building planning models).
• Working knowledge of BOM structures, lead-time management, and inventory control fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own the material plan that keeps production running.
• Translate the build schedule into a reliable, time-phased supply plan for commodities.
• Ensure on-time delivery with accurate forecasts and POs.
• Maintain BOMs, lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, and on-hand balances.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers.
