Job summary

Medra in San Francisco is looking for a Manufacturing Technician to help scale our automated lab. You will work closely with the hardware team to build, test and ship robotic systems and provide feedback on the hardware required to fully automate customer protocols.

This 100% on-site role rewards a hacker’s mindset, hands-on problem solving, and a willingness to wear many hats as we iterate quickly in a fast-paced lab environment. You will maintain organized workspace and inventory.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical intuition and hardware debugging and assembly skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thoroughly follow written instructions.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience building, testing, and scaling hardware.
• A hacker’s mindset and are a quick learner.
• Willingness to cross discipline boundaries to solve a problem.
• Know your way around rapid prototyping technology.
• A willingness to wear many hats / a flexible attitude towards responsibilities and scope.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
