Job summary

Medra in San Francisco is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to turn our robotic platform into reality. You will design, test, and implement hardware that enables fully automated customer protocols with a focus on reliability and rapid iteration.

You will work closely with a team of engineers to prototype components, validate designs, and scale hardware while operating in a fast-paced, experimental environment. This is an on-site role with relocation support.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• Hands-on hardware design and prototyping experience.
• Experience designing and building hardware systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, test, validate and iterate on mechanical systems.
• Create detailed designs in CAD and well-specified, accurate drawings.
• Design, fabricate, test and iterate on hardware prototypes.
• Develop robotic solutions to manipulate and control biology tools designed for humans.
