Job summary

Lab37 Robotics is seeking a Prep Cook to bridge raw ingredients and our bowl-building robots in a high-tech kitchen. You will prep, stage, and portion components for robotic assembly, following software-guided SOPs to uphold exacting standards.

Working onsite five days a week, you will operate induction stoves and other equipment, weigh ingredients with digital scales, and collaborate with teams to ensure timely fulfillment and food safety.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Minimum of 1 year of kitchen experience.
• Interest in working in an automated kitchen environment — no robotics experience required, we train.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain sanitation and safety in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Precision Preparation: execute knife skills to prep proteins and vegetables for robot use.
• Scientific Portioning: weigh ingredients accurately using digital scales following recipes.
• Human-Robot Collaboration: load and monitor automated bowl-building units per SOPs.
• Inventory & Analytics: keep logs and track food waste via the digital platform.
• Advanced Equipment & Safety: operate induction stoves, combi ovens and blast chillers; uphold sanitation.
