Lab37 Robotics in New York is seeking a project manager to lead commercial kitchen construction projects supporting robotic deployments. You will manage budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships, coordinating with architects, engineers, and permit expeditors to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, budget discipline, and experience with complex installations. Onsite work is expected, with equity and performance-based compensation components.

Competenze

• Experience managing commercial construction projects, ideally with kitchens or equipment installations.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, MEP systems, and cross-trade coordination.
• Proven ability to independently manage budgets, schedules, contractors and vendors.
• Experience with contractor bidding, RFPs, cost management, and value engineering.
• Familiarity with permitting, inspections, building codes, and local regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines and quality.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with commercial kitchen equipment, robotics or manufacturing equipment installations is a plus.

Mansioni

• Own planning and execution of commercial kitchen construction projects for Lab37 robotic deployments.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, contractor RFPs, bidding, and vendor selection.
• Oversee contractors and subcontractors to ensure projects meet schedule, budget, quality, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, permit expeditors, and internal teams throughout design and construction.
• Manage project cost controls, including change orders, contingencies, invoicing, and cost-to-complete tracking.
• Identify opportunities for value engineering and resolve technical construction challenges involving MEP systems.
• Coordinate permitting, inspections, and regulatory requirements to support successful project delivery.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, proactively identifying risks and keeping stakeholders informed of progress.
