Job summary

LAB37 is seeking a Prep Cook to bridge raw ingredients and our robotic system. You’ll prepare components for robot assembly, following software-guided SOPs to ensure quality and consistency in an automated kitchen.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of kitchen experience, strong attention to detail, and an interest in working with automated processes. This role is onsite in a high-tech environment with comprehensive benefits and a starting wage of $23 per hour.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• 1 year of kitchen experience minimum.
• Interest in working in an automated kitchen environment; robotics experience is not required, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proteins and vegetables to exact specifications for robot compatibility.
• Weigh ingredients and sauces with digital scales to maintain recipe accuracy.
• Load and monitor automated bowl-building units following software protocols.
• Maintain inventory logs and track food waste via the digital platform.
• Operate and sanitize commercial induction stoves, combi ovens, and blast chillers while upholding sanitation standards.
