Lab37 Robotics in Los Angeles leads the way in robotic food production and operations. We seek an Associate Operations Manager to supervise kitchen performance, coach frontline leaders, and ensure standards across all sites.

You will drive labor management, food cost controls, and SOP adherence while coordinating with vendors and maintenance teams. This hands-on role requires on-site work and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operation experience in restaurant/foodservice environments.
• Experience managing multiple locations is strongly preferred.
• Experience owning labor, food cost, staffing, facilities, and KPI management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day ops across LA kitchens and be the first escalation point for location issues.
• Coach shift leads and kitchen leaders to build a high-performing culture.
• Ensure SOPs for cleaning, food safety, opening/closing, prep, equipment care, inventory, and order quality.
• Own location-level labor management including staffing, scheduling, overtime, productivity, and costs.
• Help manage food cost, inventory, waste, purchasing, and other controllable costs.
• Coordinate facilities, vendor relations, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Spend time onsite to observe, coach, and address gaps.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and development of kitchen staff.
• Assist with new kitchen launches and stabilize locations after openings.
• Identify recurring issues and propose practical improvements.
