GE Vernova seeks an Industrial Mechanical Technician to operate, maintain, and improve system-controlled robotics and machine tools in a manufacturing setting. The role focuses on diagnosing issues, planning repairs, and managing preventative maintenance to keep facilities running smoothly.

The candidate will rely on mechanical and hydraulic fundamentals, perform extensive repairs, and work across machine tools, conveyors, and process equipment while prioritizing safety.

Formación

• Associate's Degree in Mechanical Discipline or high school with military machinist training.
• Willingness to work off shifts and weekends.
• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing facility in a technical maintenance role.
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic fundamentals and safety knowledge (schematics, precision measurement tools, LOTO).

Responsabilidades

• Identify and evaluate equipment condition and determine repair/rebuild strategy.
• Own preventative maintenance and extensive repairs; diagnose problems, plan and complete work, order parts.
• Maintain and modify machine tools, conveyors, and process equipment including guards, drives, pumps, bearings, lubrication, and coolant systems.
• Apply knowledge of components and equipment used in industrial applications and related machinery tools (lathes, measurement devices).

Educación

Associate's Degree in Mechanical Discipline OR High School Diploma/GED with Military Machinist Training
