Job summary

GNS North America is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support stamping and laser-cutting operations in our Michigan facility. Under minimal supervision, you’ll troubleshoot robotic, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and repair equipment to keep production running.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years in industrial maintenance, plus knowledge of electrical panels, ABB robotics, and blueprints. Competitive pay and safety-focused environment offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Good command of the English language (grammar and language).
• Familiarity with machines and tools; mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, mount, test, maintain, and remove electrical equipment including 480-volt bus systems and control panels.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems using instruments like voltmeters.
• Make repairs to ABB robotic equipment and replace circuit boards, sensors, encoders, or servomotors.
• Read blueprints for conveyors and automation; operate forklifts and other equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, document service records, and mentor junior technicians.
