Job summary

Autokiniton in Michigan seeks a maintenance technician to install, maintain and repair machinery, equipment, facilities and electrical systems in a stamping and welded assembly plant.

You will dismantle defective machines, install new or repaired parts, and troubleshoot electrical apparatus up to 480 VAC, including transformers and wiring. Robots and automated equipment are part of daily maintenance.

Qualifications

• Trade school certification in Industrial/Electrician/Millwright is required or highly preferred.
• Associate's degree or equivalent is acceptable.
• High school Diploma or GED with related experience is acceptable.
• Journeyman's Card is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair machinery, equipment, facilities and electrical systems in stamping and welded assembly plants.
• Dismantle defective machines and install new or repaired parts.
• Install and repair electrical apparatus up to 480 VAC, including transformers and wiring.
• Repair automated machinery and equipment such as robots.
• Discuss operation variations with supervisors or operators to diagnose problems.
