Job summary

Randstad is partnered with a global automotive supplier to identify a skilled automation technician for a third shift role in Michigan. You will perform corrective maintenance, troubleshoot robotic systems, PLCs, vision systems, and pneumatics, and support preventive maintenance on production equipment.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or GED and at least 2 years of mechanical or electrical experience; an apprenticeship or in-house training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years related mechanical or electrical experience.
• Applicable apprenticeship or in-house training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly skilled corrective machinery/tool maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of robotic systems, PLC, vision systems, pneumatics, and more
• Perform preventative maintenance programs on production equipment (i.e., cleaning, retooling, oil-changing, calibrating, aligning, etc.)
• Assist in process improvements
• Note that this will be an off-shift role with ability to move to preferred shift over time
