Job summary

1X is seeking a Test Technician in California to execute safe, repeatable hardware testing across thermal, mechanical, and electrical validation. You will set up equipment, fixtures, and the Device Under Test, run tests, inspect articles, troubleshoot issues, and report results to engineering.

You will help keep the lab ready and improve test setups as programs evolve, collaborating with the Test & Validation team to ensure reliability and readiness for real-world use.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a test lab or similar technical environment.
• Experience setting up and running tests on complex hardware.
• Experience with lab equipment, fixtures, instrumentation, and DAQ systems.
• Ability to interpret test plans and document results.
• Proficient in Excel for organizing test data.
• Experience with design validation, reliability, or manufacturing validation testing.
• Familiar with data acquisition, statistics, or test automation.
• Experience with robotics, automation, or complex electromechanical products.
• Experience with thermal, vibration, durability, or electrical testing.
