Job summary

Apptronik seeks a Senior Hardware Test Engineer to own validation, reliability, and production test for robot electronics. You will design test campaigns for PCBAs, wiring harnesses, sensors, and compute modules, and collaborate with design, firmware, and manufacturing teams to scale tests for production.

You will implement HALT/HASS, build fixtures, and drive pass/fail criteria while ensuring robust handoff to Manufacturing Test as programs scale.

Qualifications

• Hands-on validation of electronic hardware using bench equipment and test fixtures.
• Experience with ICT, flying probe, functional test, and fixture design.
• Knowledge of HALT/HASS, stress profiles, and harness test concepts.
• Ability to debug failures to board, connector, or component level using schematics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute test campaigns for PCBAs, wiring harnesses, sensors, and compute modules.
• Design and run HALT to identify margins and failure modes; develop harness tests.
• Characterize sensor modalities and compute parameters to define performance limits.
• Build fixtures and automate tests; provide actionable feedback to design teams.
