Symbotic LLC is offering summer internship and co-op opportunities in Hardware Engineering. Interns explore mechanical, electrical, and PLC domains, designing and prototyping robotic components, validating hardware and software interactions, and contributing to test plans.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Hardware Engineering teams with designing, documenting, building, testing and debugging the latest technologies and engineering designs.
• Design parts for manufacturing processes using CAD (machining, casting, sheet metal, plastics).
• Assemble electromechanical assemblies and fixtures with hand tools and measurement equipment.
• Debug issues with Mechanical and Electro‑mechanical systems and components.
• Develop robot motion scripts (Python) to control movements for test requirements.
• Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Contribute to PLC hardware and software system design and implementation.
• Inform reliability test plans to identify failure modes early in development.
