Job summary

RIVR, part of Amazon is seeking a detail-oriented software engineering professional to support robot products. This role emphasizes flashing OS/firmware, self-testing, diagnostics, and documentation, with inventory and tool-management duties in Shanghai.

You will perform OS installations, analyze logs for root-cause, run EoL tests, and coordinate with HW/SW teams to resolve complex issues. In-person presence at our offices is required to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronics, computer science, automation, mechatronics or related field.
• Experience with Ubuntu and ROS2 environments; ability to read software logs.
• Minimum 3 years in testing, repair or software flashing in electronics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Robot Setup & Flashing: flash OS/firmware on end-of-line devices per WI.
• Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: identify software failures and log faults.
• Robot EoL Testing: perform end-of-line tests and report results.
• Rework & Collaboration: fix software defects and coordinate with HW/SW teams.
