Job summary

Tutor Intelligence is seeking a technically credible, customer‑facing engineer to own a portfolio of robotic deployments in production. You’ll be the trusted partner for site operations, engineering and maintenance teams, accountable for the operational and technical success of those deployments.

This role blends robotics, operations and customer partnership. You’ll spend on‑site time at facilities, remote diagnostics, and collaborate with engineering to drive improvements that help customers

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in a technical customer-facing role (applications engineering, field engineering, robotics deployment, solutions engineering, or similar).
• Technical depth in robotics, industrial automation, controls, mechatronics, manufacturing systems, or warehouse/logistics tech.
• Comfort working hands-on with software and physical systems in real-world environments.
• Ability to develop deep knowledge of complex technical systems built by others to diagnose, tune, and improve outcomes.
• Genuine relationship orientation and trust from customers over time.
• Strong communication: credible with engineering/ops and clear with non-technical leaders.
• Willingness to spend meaningful time on-site at customer facilities.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of customer sites end-to-end as the primary technical partner.
• Develop deep working knowledge of our robot systems, diagnose issues, and collaborate with engineering on resolutions.
• Diagnose and resolve operational and technical issues in customers’ environments across software, hardware, and processes.
• Partner with engineering to execute technical improvements informed by field context.
• Track fleet health and performance, anticipate issues, and drive customer satisfaction.
• Translate field reality into product insights and contribute to roadmap discussions.
• Support expansion opportunities in collaboration with Account Executives.
