Job summary

Tutor Intelligence seeks a technically credible, customer-oriented engineer to own a portfolio of customer sites running Tutor robots in production. You’ll be the trusted partner for operations, engineering, and maintenance teams, diagnosing issues across software, hardware, and processes and coordinating with engineering for improvements.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, on-site presence, and a voice for customers in product roadmaps.

Qualifications

2-5+ years in a technical customer-facing role (applications engineering, field engineering, robotics deployment, etc).
Depth in robotics, industrial automation, controls, mechatronics, manufacturing systems, or warehouse/logistics tech.
Comfort with software and physical systems in real-world environments.
Ability to diagnose issues across software, hardware, and processes.
Strong relationship orientation and trusted customer partnerships.
Clear, credible communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Willingness to spend meaningful time on-site at customer facilities.

Responsibilities

Own a portfolio of customer sites end-to-end as the primary technical partner.
Develop deep knowledge of Tutor robot systems to diagnose issues credibly with engineering.
Diagnose and resolve operational and technical issues across customers' environments.
Collaborate with engineering to implement technical improvements based on field needs.
Track fleet health, uptime, reliability, throughput, and customer satisfaction.
Translate field reality into product insights for internal roadmaps.
Partner with Account Executives on expansion opportunities.
