Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a student enrolled in an engineering program for a 15-week Engineering Co-op in Middleburg Heights, OH. Co-ops will assist the site Engineering Managers with day-to-day tasks and special projects, contributing to the goals of the Robotics Lab.

The program emphasizes automation systems, safety, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. Candidates should be pursuing Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering and be willing to relocate

Qualifications

Must be currently enrolled in a college or university with engineering focus.
Pursuing an Engineering Degree with sophomore standing or higher.

Responsibilities

Support installation, programming, integration, and optimization of robotic and automated manufacturing systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to minimize downtime.
Assist with automation projects, equipment startups, commissioning, and production launches.
Develop and maintain electrical schematics, control system drawings, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and operations teams to implement automation solutions.
Promote and adhere to industrial safety standards and safe work practices.
