Actalent is seeking a contract-to-hire Electrical/Mechanical Technician for our Pittsburgh, PA facility, focusing on electromechanical assembly in a fast-paced robotics environment. You will follow detailed work instructions, assemble, test, and troubleshoot complex devices, and interpret engineering docs to ensure quality builds.

The role emphasizes lean manufacturing, safety (5S/ESD/FOD), and collaboration with engineering.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a relevant technical field.
• 15+ years in a manufacturing or lean manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with electromechanical products, including precision instrumentation and complex electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electromechanical products by following detailed work instructions and production documentation.
• Test electromechanical products to verify performance and compliance with specifications.
• Troubleshoot electromechanical products to diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical issues.
• Interpret engineering prints and electrical schematics to guide assembly, wiring, and testing activities.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and refine process documentation.
