Job summary

Lab37 Robotics is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Technician to assemble and test advanced robotic food production systems onsite in Warrendale. You will follow documented instructions, build subassemblies, wire components, and verify performance through established test procedures.

You will work with engineering to resolve issues, document results, and maintain a clean, safe workspace in a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electro-mechanical assembly and testing experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Familiarity with common tools and testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.
• Ability to follow documented work instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical systems and subassemblies per instructions.
• Perform mechanical assembly, wiring, harness routing, and sensor installation.
• Follow quality checks and test procedures to verify assemblies.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve build issues and priorities.
• Document work, issues, test results, and deviations from procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Support troubleshooting, rework, and checkout activities.
• Identify gaps and opportunities to improve build quality or efficiency.
