Job summary

Actalent in Pittsburgh is seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician to assemble mechanical and electromechanical components into assemblies, systems, and finished products using detailed work instructions and engineering documentation. You will follow procedures and ensure quality throughout the build.

You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and rework as needed, collaborate with engineers and production teams to implement design updates, and conduct incoming inspections to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical, electromechanical, manufacturing, or production assembly.
• Ability to interpret work instructions, technical drawings, and assembly documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components into larger assemblies, systems, and finished products using detailed work instructions and engineering documentation.
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and rework on assemblies that do not meet testing or quality requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to implement design updates, modifications, and repairs.
• Conduct incoming inspections of parts and materials to ensure quality standards are met.
