Actalent is seeking an Engineering Test Technician to support electromechanical assembly and testing activities in a fast-paced contract role in Newton, MA. The technician will read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions, troubleshoot issues, and document results to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
• 2+ years of related assembly, test, or technician experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform electromechanical assembly and testing activities.
