Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electromechanical Assembler in Bedford, MA. You will assemble, test, and troubleshoot robotic equipment, including conveyors and control boxes, adapting to evolving designs in a state-of-the-art robotics facility.

You will interpret schematics, perform wiring and harnessing, and document outcomes while collaborating with a small technical team in an R&D environment. Standard hours are daytime, onsite, with a contract-to-hire pathway.

Qualifications

• Proven electromechanical assembly experience on complex systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with robotics or in an R&D environment where designs evolve.
• Experience with wiring and cable harnessing.
• Comfort working with evolving documentation and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble robotic equipment including conveyors, arms, and control boxes.
• Adapt to customer-specific assemblies and changing configurations.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings for accurate assemblies.
• Work with evolving schematics, using sound judgment to complete assemblies.
• Perform electrical wiring and cable harnessing as part of builds.
• Use hand and power tools, torque tools, and precision equipment.
• Conduct functional tests to verify operation and performance.
• Troubleshoot issues during testing and resolve problems.
• Document assembly steps, test results, and changes made during builds.
• Collaborate with a small technical team to refine processes and support improvement.
• Follow safety procedures for electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
