Job summary

DoorDash Labs in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair robotic systems and electric bicycles. Qualifications

  • 1+ year service work experience required.
  • Curiosity for mechanical repair and systems.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience with vehicle, bicycle, fleet service, robotics, or aircraft is a plus.
  • Experience with service tools like JIRA/MaintainX is a plus.
  • Valid U.S. driver license and MVR check required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform standard and intermediate service tasks for robotic systems and electric bicycles.
  • Repair faults in robotic platforms, modular components, e-bike drivetrains, and support vehicles.
  • Assist with complex faults alongside senior technicians to learn advanced diagnostics.
  • Complete repairs on electrical systems, control units, battery packs, and hardware.
  • Use manuals, schematics, and diagnostic flowcharts to guide work.
  • Document diagnostic steps, repairs, and failures in the service system.
  • Learn from experienced technicians and apply feedback to improve skills across vehicles.
  • Follow preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend fleet life.
