Job summary

DoorDash Labs in Mesa, Arizona is seeking an Operations Specialist, Support Vehicle Fleet to perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on our final-mile vehicle fleet. You will diagnose issues, perform minor repairs, and ensure thorough documentation to support robot operations.

You will retrofit vehicles with equipment as needed and coordinate towing for more advanced repairs, while adhering to safety policies and regulations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in vehicle maintenance or related roles.
• Experience with box trucks, cargo vans, sedans, and fleet vehicles.
• Ability to diagnose and repair basic vehicle issues.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on a fleet of vehicles including box trucks, cargo vans, pickups, and sedans.
• Diagnose issues and perform minor repairs (battery jump-starts, tire repairs, bulb replacement, fluid refills).
• Retrofit vehicles with equipment for robot operations.
• Coordinate towing or transport for major repairs beyond scope.
• Document service records accurately and clearly.
