Job summary

DoorDash Labs seeks a Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair robotic systems and electric bicycles on-site in Sunnyvale, CA. You will work closely with senior technicians to expand troubleshooting skills and progressively handle more complex repairs while documenting all activities in our service management system.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, adherence to preventive maintenance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to keep fleet equipment available and reliable.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of service work experience is required.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Curiosity and an inclination for all things mechanical and repair.
• Prior experience in vehicle, bicycle, or fleet service, robotics, or aircraft is a plus.
• Experience with JIRA, MaintainX, and other service tools is a plus.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and MVR completion required.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and upkeep of robotic systems and electric bicycles.
• Repair faults in robotic platforms, drivetrains, and support vehicles using established procedures.
• Assist with complex faults alongside senior technicians to learn advanced diagnostics.
• Complete repairs on electrical systems, control units, batteries, and hardware.
• Document diagnostic steps and repair actions in the service management system.
