Job summary

Custom Building Products, Frankfort, IN, seeks a skilled Machine Operator for 2nd shift to operate and maintain automated production equipment, including robotic systems. Expect a $1.00/hour shift premium with potential for another $1.00/hour after 90 days.

Schedule is 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with overtime opportunities, and a full benefits package. You will manage production schedules, optimize workflow, and ensure product quality while minimizing downtime.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Preferred experience with batch making, robotics, or automated equipment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor robotic systems using teaching pendants safely and efficiently.
Work with automated systems and Noltec equipment (training provided).
May include batch making duties.
Adjust machine settings, product size, and pallet configurations.
Place pallets on conveyors and initiate robotic operations.
Ensure accurate product weights and maintain neat palletizing.
Monitor production processes to meet daily schedules and performance goals.
Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Maintain quality, accuracy, and productivity.
Support team operations and continuous improvement efforts.
