Job summary

Custom Building Products is seeking a skilled Machine Operator in Frankfort, IN on our 2nd shift. You will operate and monitor automated machinery, including robotic systems, with a $1.00/hour shift premium and potential increases after 90 days.

Duties include adjusting machine settings, loading pallets, ensuring accurate weights, and maintaining safe, efficient workflow. This role emphasizes achieving daily production targets, minimizing downtime, and contributing to continuous improvement

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience with robotics or automated production equipment preferred.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor robotic systems safely and efficiently.
Work with automated systems, including Noltec equipment (training will be provided).
May include batch making duties.
Adjust machine settings, including product size and pallet configurations.
Place pallets on conveyors and initiate robotic operations.
Ensure accurate product weights and maintain neat, organized palletizing.
Monitor production processes to meet daily schedules and performance goals.
Troubleshoot basis equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Maintain a high level of quality, accuracy, and productivity.
Support team operations and contribute to continuous improvement efforts and goals.
