Job summary

Savannah College of Art and Design is seeking a robotics professor to join the School of Creative Technology. Qualifications

• Terminal degree in robotics or a related field.
• Academic and professional credentials to teach robotics.
• Two years of work experience in robotics, physical computing, or interactive systems development or post-secondary teaching experience.
• Cross-disciplinary design experience or collaboration across industrial design, UX, animation, computation, or media arts.
• Background in studio-based teaching, iterative prototyping, and experiential learning.

Responsibilities

• Teach robotics courses and develop curricula that span design and engineering.
• Prepare syllabi, conduct office hours, and assess student work per Faculty Handbook.
• Provide hands-on, project-based learning experiences and field trips when appropriate.
• Engage in departmental and university initiatives and contribute to curriculum development and exhibitions.
