Job summary

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in architecture or a related field.
• Academic and professional credentials to teach in architecture.
• Two years of related work experience or post-secondary teaching experience with demonstrated architectural design ability.
• Experience engaging contemporary architectural technologies, methods, or modes of practice.
• Ability to translate professional expertise into architectural education.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare for teaching and maintain an active classroom.
• Conduct course- and program-level assessments and model professionalism.
• Fulfill grading and academic documentation requirements and record attendance.
• Follow academic policies and support institutional effectiveness efforts.
• Mentor students on design, technical, and professional questions; provide extra help sessions.
• Attend on-ground and virtual events, including faculty councils and exhibitions.
