Job summary

Wonder is expanding its Infinite Kitchens and seeks a Robotics Deployment & Applications Engineer to lead on-site deployments nationwide from Boston, with up to 75% travel. You will coordinate between internal teams, contractors, and vendors, while scaling deployment processes and mentoring technicians.

A hands-on leader with mechatronics/engineering background is essential. You will collaborate with hardware and software engineers in the lab, develop tests, and improve documentation and tools

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on leadership of technical deployment teams.
• Ability to coordinate between internal teams, GCs and external vendors.
• Proven experience with project management and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the onsite deployments of Infinite Kitchens.
• Serve as the primary on-site contact, coordinating between internal teams, the general contractor and external vendors.
• Identify and address risks to ensure smooth project execution.
• Build and improve project management and tracking systems for deployments and maintenance.
• Improve deployment and maintenance processes and documentation to raise efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with project managers and maintenance teams on long-term improvements.
• Work with Hardware/Software Engineers in lab supporting new projects, tests and product development.
• Learn internal software tools and suggest improvements.
• Project manage and execute internal tests of new and existing products.
• Lead and mentor a small team of technicians.
