Job summary

Wonder is expanding its Infinite Kitchens footprint and seeks a Robotics Deployment & Applications Engineer to lead on-site deployments nationwide and develop customer solutions in the lab. The role suits hands-on leaders who can drive automation projects with engineering or mechatronics background.

This full-time position is based in Boston with up to 75% travel to deployment sites, requiring five days in the office when not deployed.

Qualifications

2+ years leading technical teams on site.
Fast-paced, deadline-driven environments experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
Willing to travel to deployment sites and support tests.

Responsibilities

Lead onsite deployments of Infinite Kitchens.
Coordinate between internal teams, general contractor, and external vendors on deployments.
Identify and address risks to ensure smooth project execution.
Build and improve project management and tracking systems for deployments and maintenance.
Improve deployment and maintenance processes and documentation for efficiency and quality.
Collaborate with project managers and maintenance teams on long-term improvements.
Work with Hardware/Software Engineers in lab supporting new projects and testing.
Learn and suggest improvements to internal software tools.
Build prototypes and create test plans with Engineering team.
Manage and execute internal tests of new and existing products.
Lead and mentor a small team of technicians.
