Job summary

Stryker is seeking a field-based Clinical Applications Specialist to deliver front-line clinical and technical support for manual and robotic (MakoSmartRobotics) procedures. You will train surgeons and Operating Room staff, guide intra-operative activities, and ensure safe, effective use of products and technology.

You’ll participate in pre-operative planning, troubleshooting, inventory and case management, and cross-functional collaboration with sales and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years related experience
• Or an Associate degree with 6+ years experience
• Or a high school diploma with 8+ years related experience
• Trained on clinical applications according to territory needs
• Annual Mako recertifications as required
• Fluency in written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Deliver front-line clinical and technical support for manual and robotic procedures.
• Train surgeons and OR staff on product use, best practices, and workflows.
• Prepare pre-operative CT scans for planning, sizing, and positioning.
• Troubleshoot technical and product issues for surgeons and OR teams.
• Coordinate account operations including inventory, case preparation, and documentation.
• Manage account administration tasks including updates and billing.
• Maintain Mako certifications and participate in cross-training.
• Collaborate with clinical, sales, and operations teams.
• Provide on-call coverage outside regular hours as needed.
