Job summary

Stryker Group is seeking a Clinical Specialist to enhance orthopedic surgeries worldwide. You will build clinical and technical expertise in both robotic (Mako SmartRobotics) and manual procedures, supporting surgeons in pre-op planning, case prep, system setup, and real-time workflows to ensure safe, accurate outcomes.

You will gain hands-on experience with Mako technology and CT-based planning, while developing expertise in instrumentation, OR protocol, and education programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• OR or related experience is acceptable.
• 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gain competency in solo case coverage for manual and robotic procedures.
• Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT-based planning, implant sizing, and positioning.
• Support full case preparation, including instrumentation checks, equipment setup, and OR readiness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in the operating room.
• Support workflow for daily account coordination, including inventory management and logistics.
• Shadow teammates to understand territory dynamics and surgeon preferences.
• Participate in product demonstrations, cadaver labs, education programs, and customer training events.
• Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and cross-functional partners.
• Manage administrative tasks related to accounts, system updates, and case documentation.
• Collaborate with sales to ensure seamless execution and unified customer experience.
• Complete required trainings, competencies, and certifications.
• Provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
