Stryker is seeking a Clinical Specialist to advance orthopedic procedures worldwide, with hands-on experience in robotic Mako SmartRobotics and manual techniques. You will assist with planning, setup, and real-time workflows, while developing expertise through labs and education programs.

The role emphasizes adaptability, calm under pressure, and strong problem-solving in a fast-paced surgical environment, including after-hours on-call support for urgent cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, OR equivalent with 4 years related experience, OR high school diploma with 6 years related experience.
• English proficiency required; on-call readiness to support after-hours.
• Preferred: 1 year of relevant work experience; prior clinical exposure (nursing, PT, surgical tech, athletic training, medical scribing, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Gain solo case coverage competency for manual and robotic procedures.
• Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT-based planning, implant sizing, and positioning.
• Support full case preparation: instrumentation checks, equipment setup, OR readiness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in the OR.
• Support workflow for account coordination: inventory management and logistics.
• Shadow experienced teammates to learn territory dynamics and surgeon preferences.
• Participate in product demos, cadaver labs, education programs, and customer trainings.
• Build relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and cross-functional partners.
• Manage account-related admin: updates, case documentation.
• Collaborate with sales to ensure seamless execution and unified customer experience.
• Complete trainings, competencies, and certifications.
• Provide on-call coverage evenings, weekends, holidays.
