Job summary

1X Technologies is seeking a skilled professional to train machine learning models for robotic navigation, manipulation, and locomotion. You will implement scalable infrastructure to train on larger data and compute resources, and advance algorithms to improve sample efficiency and generalization.

You will collaborate with the data collection and software teams to refine evaluation, calibration, and timing of the robotics stack.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the role or related field.

Responsibilities

• Train machine learning models for robotic navigation, manipulation, and locomotion.
• Implement infrastructure to scale data engine training on more data and compute.
• Develop algorithmic advances to improve sample efficiency and generalization of models.
• Collaborate with data collection to improve evaluation processes.
• Interview and assist in hiring for the AI team.
• Work with software team to improve calibration and timing in robotics stack.
• Speed up data loader to increase training speeds.
• Develop data inspection tools to interpret AI models.
